Welcome to my counseling practice.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Vancouver, Washington with nearly 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups.  I specialize in working with individuals and couples wanting help with life’s challenges and relationship issues. People often look at life and relationship difficulties as something going “wrong.”  They may fear that it means they are inadequate, or incompatible.

In my approach, I look at these problems as a part of the natural process of growing up. It is the facing and growing through these dilemmas that make each of us more capable of the strength and resiliency needed to develop the capacity for the passion and intimacy we seek.  I help people see more accurate ways of making sense of their problems, and to take action to make changes. As a marriage therapist, I assist individuals and couples to improve communication and trust, reduce conflict, resolve sexual concerns, reduce stress, depression and anxiety, and renew respect attention and love.

I have a life-long passion for learning, with an emphasis on personal and spiritual growth.  I strive to create a respectful alliance with my clients and help them to identify their strengths and resources to develop greater emotional connection with their partners and families.
